「中華民國學名藥協會」（英文名稱為：Taiwan Generic Pharmaceutical Association, TGPA），成立於2007年4月18日，為一依法設立、非以營利為目的之社會團體。本會之主管機關為內政部，主要目的事業主管機關為行政院衛生署。

為配合政府減少整體醫療支出的政策方向，本會在產、官、學、研各界關心學名藥發展的推動者，傾力支持下成立，希望結合國內學名藥相關產業、學術界、研究機構與政府機構單位，凝聚共識，共同為學名藥產業創造新價值、新商機。

本會將不定期舉辦相關座談、研討會等系列活動，透過國內外專家學者的介紹，使得國人對於學名藥有進一步的認識與瞭解，讓國人在就醫用藥時知道自己可以有不同的選擇。

此外，本會將與各國學名藥協會密切合作，成為國內學名藥產業與國外相關產業銜接的窗口，透過國際間合作與交流，取得競爭優勢，並提昇生產技術、促進創新研究發展。藉由與國際間的接軌，同步接收全球學名藥市場最新動態，進而達到維護國民健康之目的，促進我國藥業經貿蓬勃發展。

一、提昇製藥業學名藥生產製程技術。
二、提供學名藥法規及智慧財產權相關諮詢與協助。
三、提昇學名藥產業及製藥工廠的創新價值與發展。
四、加強因應對學名藥市場之挑戰。
五、提供產業間，或與原料藥公司合作諮詢輔導及利基，增加競爭力。
六、提供全球學名藥產業現況及發展趨勢。
七、推廣國際市場與我國學名藥產業之國際形象。
八、推動學名藥產官學之相互溝通與合作，以促進台灣學名藥之發展。
　

Established in April 2007, Taiwan Generic Pharmaceutical Association (TGPA) is a none-profit organization that represents manufacturers and distributors of finished generic pharmaceutical products, manufacturers and distributors of active pharmaceutical chemicals, and suppliers of other goods and services to the generic pharmaceutical industry.

The mission of TGPA is to enhance dialogue and cooperation among the generic pharmaceutical industry, authorities, and academics in Taiwan. We will hold conferences and forums from time to time to inform the public on the quality and efficiency of generic medicines to create new values and business opportunities for generic medicines.

Facing an increasing globalized society, TGPA will try to participate in the International Generic Pharmaceutical Alliance (IGPA) so that our members can increase their core competence, improve their products’ qualities, and enhance innovation. We believe TGPA will become an excellent representation for industries related with Taiwan’s generic pharmaceutical in the international forum, and promote competitive strength in the global pharmaceutical medicines market.
